Vivaz Help

Boyfriend upgraded last night to the Vivaz.
However, having some problems connecting to YouTube on it?! Can access the internet fine, but can't access YouTube either via the mobile internet or through the dedicated YouTube app.

When logging into the app YouTube just states ;Starting up; but never loads.

Phone is on T-Mobile.
Anyone help with this?
